About the Role Are you a highly experienced strategic thinker and advisor with strong commitment to serving the community?
You will lead and manage the functions and activities of the DFES Land Use Planning Team, delivering land use planning advice to government, planning decision-makers, industry, and other stakeholders.
As a member of the DFES Rural Fire Division leadership team, this position contributes to the Division's business management and strategic direction.
We are seeking someone with knowledge and experience of Land Use Planning that will operate effectively and independently at an executive level, demonstrating integrity and accountability.
You will also have the talent to influence and build trusted working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be a problem solver, with the ability to be calm and collaborative under pressure, no matter how challenging the situation.
This is a highly demanding role that will suit someone who is passionate about protecting our communities from bushfire, is comfortable delving into detail, and who brings energy and drive to their work.
