Director, Legal Operations Bloom Energy Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for a Director, Legal Operations to help develop and run a world-class legal program.

The Director of Legal Operations is responsible for driving efficiency and effectiveness within the legal department.
This individual contributor will report to the VP, Risk Compliance and Ethics, and will work closely with all areas of the legal organization.
The individual will also work with various business areas, including information technology, finance, sales, marketing, and business development.
Role and Responsibilities Create and manage the legal department's budget Oversee invoice approval and vendor onboarding processes Develop and implement training programs for legal staff Manage knowledge management systems and initiatives Implement and manage systems to create and track metrics, benchmarking, and reporting for the legal department Oversee all legal technology, including selection, implementation, and ongoing management Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding for the legal department Maintain and improve legal forms and templates Handle overflow agreement negotiation, primarily NDAs Manage the legal intranet site and legal intake process Coordinate company-wide communications from the legal department Manage Outside Counsel spend and relationships Work with Finance to manage SOX compliance Facilitate performance evaluation process by maintaining accurate job specifications Coordinate and manage CLE/training initiatives Plan and coordinate global legal meetings Plan and organize departmental events Perform other tasks as assigned Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in law, business, or related field preferred 10+ years of experience in legal operations or related field Strong understanding of legal processes and technology Excellent project management and organizational skills Experience with budget management and financial analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and legal-specific software (e.g., Ironclad, Diligent Boards) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Key Competencies: Strategic thinking and problem-solving Change management Process improvement Vendor management Cross-functional collaboration Data analysis and reporting About Bloom Energy: Bloom Energy's mission is to make clean, reliable, and affordable energy for everyone in the world.

Salary Ranges: $192,700.00 - $277,300.00
