Summary of Position
Keene State College is seeking applications for a Director of Alumni Relations to lead the alumni relations programs and processes, strengthening the coordinated engagement of alumni in the life of Keene State College with the purpose of growing fundraising.

Bachelor's degree; track record progressively growing the systematic engagement of constituents such as alumni, corporate partners, or donors of an educational institution or similar engagement of constituents; proven interpersonal and customer service skills with demonstrated ability to interface with board-level individuals, senior administrators, faculty, corporate leaders, and our diverse alumni population; demonstrated writing, speaking, planning and organizational skills; and experience with a constituent relations' database/CRM. Evening and weekend work and some travel are required of this position.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Alumnus/a of Keene State College; work experience in higher education successfully leading an alumni association (or similar) as staff member or volunteer; proficiency using electronic/web-based means of communication; familiarity with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge or similar CRM product. Additionally, the College has identified desirable qualifications that support our commitment to creating and maintaining a diverse campus community including the ability to speak a second language or to bring a multicultural perspective to the campus.
Salary Information
Salary is commensurate with experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, retirement, tuition, and paid time off. This position is part of the Keene State College Directors and Supervisors Association (KSCDSA).

Job Duties
Duty/Responsibility
Plans and delivers key alumni outreach programs and initiatives such as Alumni Reunions, Homecoming, Golden Circle, regional events, and other events and programs related to alumni and friend cultivation, with the goal of building the relationship into a philanthropic one. Planning and delivery of events includes managing marketing and communications around events, all aspects of the event itself, coordinating the registration and database aspects of the events, and developing a post-event follow up plan.
Duty/Responsibility
Manages Advancement's relationship with Athletics and serves as the primary project manager and liaison for activities including the Athletic Giving Challenge, Homecoming, the Golf Tournament, and other cultivation and fundraising activities.

Manages the Alumni Association Board, with a focus on continuing to build the working capacity of the group.
