We are seeking a Director of Business Development with 4 - 7 years of relevant experience to support our efforts in acquiring new clients and establishing strategic channel partnerships.
This role requires a professional who is comfortable across numerous verticals and excels in research, thoughtful and personalized outreach, conference attendance, relationship building, writing, and proposal creation.
The ideal candidate will work closely with leadership on opportunities, helping to originate and win new engagements.

Leverage existing relationships and create new ones to build DCS's brand and presence in the marketplace.Identify, cultivate, and foster new client relationships and cultivate our channel partner network.Help build out the DCS Client engagement Pipeline - focusing on creating qualified opportunities.Set up and participate in capabilities calls, collaborating with Managing Directors in supporting deal progressions.Attend local tech events, happy hours, and industry networking opportunities to build a robust professional network.Conduct thorough research to identify potential buyers of DCS services at organizations, ranging from system owners to C-suite executives.Work to get DCS on target RFP lists and collaborate with the proposal team to ensure timely and competitive responses.Travel up to 25% of the time to attend conferences, Salesforce world tours, and other relevant events.Represent DCS at trade shows and conferences, managing the booth and engaging with potential clients. YOU HAVE: ?? 4-7 years of solutions sales experience, preferably with a focus on Salesforce consulting or related servicesDemonstrated success in generating new business and achieving measurable resultsExperience working with and understanding the needs of Rev Ops, Finance, IT leaders, and VP-level and above executivesStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to conduct thorough market research and identify high-potential opportunitiesFamiliarity with Salesforce solutions and their applications in various industriesAwareness and understanding of private equity firms and their unique needsBonus for interest in the NYC and DC tech scenesPolished and likable, with a strong presence in client pitches and ecosystem partner interactionsComprehensive understanding of professional services in the systems space BENEFITS ??
