We are looking for a Director of Commercial Sales to lead our Commercial and Mid-Market sales team. In this role, you will roll up your sleeves and build a team by hiring, training and coaching AE's while establishing a high bar for sales excellence and execution. You will be equally accountable for developing vertical revenue strategies and driving operational rigor delivering our company monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. This position requires travel as needed for customer meetings, QBRs, internal duties, and strategic events. This is a first-line people manager role reporting to the CRO.
The ideal candidate has high energy and strong drive to build a team in a fast-paced start-up environment. Looking for a candidate with experience in transactional sales model focused on both velocity and mid-market deal cycles. Deep understanding of how to sell digital transformation solutions into key verticals like credit unions, title companies, and construction. A history of overachievement focusing on new logos and strategic account expansion across multi-solution platforms.
As our Director of Commercial Sales, you will:Implement revenue strategies and consistent, best-in-class sales process aka "The Proof Way"Hire and train sales team in best practices for deal velocity sales motionPartner with Marketing and Product teams to build vertical focused sales playsRegularly attend sales calls to assess seller effectiveness, provide feedback and build direct relationships with key executive decision makersProvide cross functional deal support and conduct strategic account reviews with the teamForecast accurately +/- 10% and build 3-4X pipeline coverage to quotaServe as executive sponsor on key new and existing accountsRemove internal blockers and distractionsBecome a subject matter expert in online notarization, eSignature, and identityCommunicate effectively in writing leveraging Slack, Google Suite, and emailAs our Director of Sales, you should have:3 years of SaaS sales leadership experience5 years of SaaS sales individual contributor experienceDemonstrable track record of top performanceEncouraging, positive demeanor, hustle mentalityTremendous business acumen, judgment, and commandStrong analytical skills with an attention to detail, operational mindsetTechnical proficiency with modern enterprise software productivity toolsComfort with ambiguity and a problem-solving orientation$300,000 - $400,000 a year
This is the expected cash compensation range for this position. The salary offered within this range will be determined based on factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience and location.
