As our company enters the next phase of our business, we are looking for a dynamic leader with a track record of launching, maintaining and measuring effective employee engagement, inclusion and belonging programs.  Fostering and maintaining an inclusive and welcoming work environment is at the core of Rover's culture. As the Director of Employee Inclusion and Engagement, you will play a pivotal role in evolving our organization's commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace culture. You will help us continue to drive company-level engagement and trust by maintaining and furthering an inclusive work environment. You will manage our 5 ERGs and DEI committee, and partner closely with our People and Executive Team. This position will report directly to the VP of People and Culture.
\n Your Qualifications:3 to 5+ years experience leading company wide DEI programs, including managing and partnering with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) 5+ years of experience leading people, directly and indirectly in a matrixed environment (ex. ERG Co-Chairs)Experience hands on managing multiple concurrent projects and/or programs, and working in a highly collaborative environmentHighly skilled in drafting, revising and delivering internal communications Proven track record of accelerating business goals by rolling out effective employee programsThe ability to balance pace and precision. Move quickly when the circumstances allow and slowing down when precision matters the mostExperience prioritizing projects and managing a department budgetTrack record of consistently leveraging data to drive and inform decisionsStrengths include influencing, facilitating, and presenting to large audiencesAbility to succeed in a scrappy, hands-on environment, working alongside passionate and dedicated team membersDemonstrated ability to develop trust and create a safe environment for all employees across all levels and geographies Your Responsibilities:Partner with our People Team to drive programs and strategies that promote employee engagement and a sense of belonging for all global employeesOwn and refine our current DEI strategy, crafting a longer-term mission and formal framework from which to advance employee engagement, including strategic plan, goals, policies, and budgetSupport the growth and overall strategy of our Employee Resource Groups and act as a liaison between ERGs and Senior Leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goalsEvaluate DEI efforts by identifying areas for improvement, directing future programs, and assessing the achievement of annual plan goalsCollaborate with the People Team on programs and initiatives to further diversify our talent funnel as well as the development and retention of a high-performing diverse and inclusive workforcePartner with cross-functional working teams and business leaders, to manage existing and new employee engagement programsContribute to the overall CSR strategy of the companyAnalyze and report out to Senior Leadership on our employee engagement and feedback surveysPartner with Learning & Development in designing and delivering training and education on DEI topics to raise awareness and foster an inclusive environment.Serve as a resource and advisor to our employees, leaders, and HR on matters related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging Benefits of Working at Rover.comCompetitive compensation401kFlexible PTOCompetitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insuranceCommuter benefitsBring your dog to work (and unlimited puppy time)Doggy benefits, including $1000 toward adopting your first dogStocked fridges, coffee, soda, and lots of treats (for humans and dogs) and free catered lunches semi-monthly Regular team activities performed in-person and virtually Compensation:In the greater Seattle area, the first-year salary range is $145,425-$190,053 with a 15% bonus. Additionally, Rover offers benefits to full-time employees.The cash compensation offered for this role is dependent on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and abilities as demonstrated in the interview and hiring process.
