Responsibilities
What you'll do...
Lead a team of engineers building the next generation of our custom CX platform.
This platform will support multiple product lines at ford credit
Help business partners understand our iterative development approach and focus on delivering iterative value as quickly as possible.
Ensures software engineering excellence (e.g.
best practices and quality) across the digital teams
Provide thought leadership to drive digital innovation.
Qualifications
You'll have...
Bachelors of Engineering degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
15+ years' experience with progressive responsibilities in: Software Engineering, Architecture and Agile Framework
Experience with leading and mentoring software engineering managers as direct reports
Must be able to operationalize and assist teams with abstract technology concepts.
Strong communication, collaborative, and influencing skills.
Experience in Content Management Systems with headless architecture / content as a service platforms.
Experience in building Digital Self Service platforms/applications of enterprise scale on new generation technologies.
Strong hands-on knowledge of digital, systems & solutions architecture for enterprises
Experience in building developer experiences around component building and DevSecOps
Good understanding of the Google Cloud platform and SRE aspects of platform development
Demonstrated ability to drive development of highly technical technology services and capabilities.
Experience collaborating with engineers, designers, and product owners.

Technical expertise in building platforms and underlying services for re-use.
Understand business priorities and technical feasibility to prioritize the platform backlog, identify dependencies, and manage risks.
Ability to jump in and assist product lines and product teams to resolve technical blockers.
Focus on delivering product value through reusable services and technologies that other product teams can leverage.
Initiates or translates the product road map into manageable product features in the backlog through quarterly scoping sessions.
