The PositionUnder the general direction of the Chief Information Officer, the Director of Enterprise Applications is responsible for the coordination of the development, implementation, and evaluation of information technology applications, best practices, and architecture.
The Director provides leadership to foster innovation in maintaining and enhancing the usability, security, performance, availability, and proper operation of the District's Banner ERP in OCI and other enterprise applications.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlans, supervises, and coordinates new and innovative Banner ERP programming requests and software acquisitions.Provides oversight and leadership on District ERP and other enterprise applications programming needs.Maintains and/or supervises the installation, setup, and maintenance of the District's ERP in cloud and other enterprise applications.Supervises generating various reports and data files in coordination with Institutional Research.Develops and maintains close collaborative working relationships with departments, committees, and end-users.Develops, implements, and conducts end-user training sessions on the District's ERP and other enterprise applications.Supervises and provides leadership to the departmental staff.Establishes and implements policies and procedures conforming with Board Policy and all applicable laws, codes, and regulations.Participates in local, statewide, and national groups to develop collaborative relationships related to area of responsibility.Performs other related duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsA combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in computer science, information technology, systems engineering or a closely related field.Eight or more years of full-time equivalent experience in a Management Information Systems, Enterprise Applications, or Information Technology department with at least three years in a management, supervisory, or coordinator capacity.Demonstrated cultural competence, sensitivity to, and understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesERP system development and maintenance on the cloud OCI preferred.Project management, project prioritization, and resource allocation.Physical RequirementsThis classification requires sitting and standing for periods of time, oral and written communication, keyboarding for significant portions of the workday.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in project management, programming languages, and working in a Banner ERP system environment.BenefitsBenefits include paid holidays, vacation and sick leave.
