The Educational Opportunity Fund Program is seeking candidates for the  Director of Educational Opportunity Fund Progra m role. Position Summary: The College of New Jersey Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) provides financial assistance and support services to students from educationally and economically disadvantaged backgrounds who attend institutions of higher learning in the State of New Jersey. TCNJ's EOF Program provides services in the form of financial and programmatic support that facilitates student transitions that lead to college readiness, positive adjustments, personal development, academic success, and student persistence to graduation. This position of EOF Director is responsible for the budget development and administration for both the EOF Grant and its institutional budgets. They supervise the program staff and provide ongoing training and professional development to align with EOF regulations and standards. They develop and implement policies and procedures that facilitate the retention, transfer, and graduation of the target EOF population. They work collaboratively with the Office of Student Financial Assistance with regard to the appropriateness and adequacy of financial aid awards. They work alongside the Office of Admissions for the recruitment and yield of incoming students. The Director is responsible for the assessment and evaluation of all program components, the submission of all required materials, and serves as TCNJ's primary liaison to the EOF Central Office.   Main Responsibilities: Work with the EOF Associate Director and staff, as well as liaise with institutional partners to provide programming and support activities to serve the EOF student population. Review and development of program budgets for the TCNJ EOF Program, and work with the Business and Finance Services department at the College to ensure budgeting practices meet EOF regulations and standards. Use the EOF on-line supplemental roster to request, process, and certify EOF Article III student grant awards for eligible students: Assist in the coordination of EOF roster processing through EOF staff. Liaise with the TCNJ Office of Student Financial Assistance (OFSA) and OSHE/EOF staff to ensure rosters are processed as noted. Oversee the assessment and evaluation of program support and services, as well as the implementation of programming developed from the data gathered from assessments. Coordination for and submission of all required materials and reports to the EOF Central Office.  Required Qualifications:  Master's Degree in Higher Education or relevant field. Minimum of 3-5 years working as an administrator in EOF program .       Experience with budget management and grant reporting/administration.       Experience with program development/coordination, and demonstrated success with advising and program development for academically at-risk populations.       Experience with supervision of professional staff.       Experience in the planning, coordination, and facilitation of summer bridge programs.       Strong written and verbal communication skills.      Persons with disabilities may request reasonable accommodations in order to perform the essential functions of the position. Preferred Qualifications:   NJ EOF Director-level experience. Bilingual/Spanish. Familiarization with TCNJ policy, protocol, and academic landscape.
