Job Overview - Director of Finance and HR:
Step into the role of Director of Finance and HR with our client, where you'll lead the financial management and human resources functions across multiple companies. You'll be responsible for accurate financial reporting, payroll management, and driving company strategies through insightful financial analysis and HR compliance.
Location: Berks County, PA
Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000/year + bonus
Schedule: 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday Responsibilities as the Director of Finance and HR:Financial Management: Oversee general ledger transactions, month-end entries, reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial reporting for all companies.Payroll: Manage payroll processes for exempt and non-exempt employees, ensuring accuracy in costs, expenses, and account distributions.Accounts Payable: Supervise AP and AR functions, maintaining control over payments, balances, and customer credit lines.Tax Compliance: Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings, including sales tax, fuel tax, and income tax estimates.HR Oversight: Collaborate with the HR Manager to ensure compliance with HR practices and legislation.Qualifications for the Director of Finance and HR:Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Experience: 7-10 years of experience in Manufacturing or Construction.Certifications: CPA or CMA is preferred.Skills: Strong accounting management skills, with knowledge of PA Sales & Use Tax (Fuel Tax experience is a plus).Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, and other inventory and accounting software.Attributes: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently within a team.Application Notice: Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 business days of application.
