Director of Finance (Real Estate) - $225,000 basepay We are seeking a dynamic Director of Finance to oversee corporate accounting, financial and tax reporting, and investments in private equity and real estate. This role offers the opportunity to launch new funds, manage accounting structures for new properties, and lead a talented team including the Corporate Controller, Treasurer, Assistant Controller, AP Manager, and AR Manager. As you grow into the role, you'll take on increasing leadership responsibilities with a clear path to becoming the Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate will have a mix of public and private accounting experience, preferably with a CPA designation. Experience with open-ended funds, fair value GAAP reporting, and REITs is essential. Knowledge of upcoming SEC compliance demands for REITs and taxation for private REITs, partnerships, S-Corps, K1s, and REIT compliance is required. Corporate accounting experience, including an understanding of payroll and benefits from an accounting standpoint, is also valuable. This role demands a strong team player with superb communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
