Description This Director of Fulfillment Operations will lead fulfillment operations, customer service, and continuous improvement culture in an omnichannel fulfillment environment.
This position will oversee day-to-day operations while providing strategic direction while maintaining full accountability for service and financial performance results.
ResponsibilitiesProvides leadership and direction for fulfillment operationsDevelop and manages through a budget processEmploy a collaborative approach to continually evaluate, measure, and refine processes to improve service, quality, and efficiencyImprove customer satisfaction through solid relationships, service levels, and qualityIncorporate LEAN practices and methodologies within the facilityProvide strategic leadership and guidance to develop, coach, and mentor operations and support staffProvides timely and accurate monthly reporting, ensures proper billingWork closely with sales in support of new customer solutions, pricing, facility tours, and customer presentationsIdentify new business opportunities and implement new solutions within the existing customer baseManage value-added services, including call center, reverse logistics, kitting, and assemblyManage relationships with vendors and corporate functional teams to achieve shared business objectivesEnsure company procedures, policies, and culture are executed and practiced effectivelyEnsures company compliance with all relevant regulatory requirementsMaintain strong safety and facility cleanliness programs in compliance with all OSHA and company requirementsLearn and maintain a strong understanding of systems including WMS, CRM, CMS, TMS, BillingLead and support the implementation of new and upgraded systems, as requiredQualificationsEducation/ExperienceBachelor's Degree - preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related fieldHigh school diploma requiredMust possess 3-5 years of operations experience in a multi-channel order fulfillment business environmentMinimum of 10 years of overall experience in the distribution/logistics industryMinimum of 5 year of leadership experienceKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust have working knowledge and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Order Management Systems (OMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and parcel management systems.Ability to be comfortable with strategy and forecast with senior-level executives at client companiesSolid understanding of business financial management (budgets, profit, and loss, forecasting/planning)Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong analytical skillsAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to perform complex business analysis and decision-making.Ability to think critically about existing processes and technology solutionsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the publicAbility to read, analyze and interpret policies and contracts#LI-SB1Note that if you are viewing this posting on an external job board (such as Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, etc.
