Sidney Regional Medical Center is searching for a Director of Human Resources! This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing SRMC team. The Director of Human Resources will plan, lead, direct, develop and coordinate the activities of the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategies.
Job Responsibilities: Collaborates with senior leadership and department directors to understand the organization's goals, needs, and strategy related to staffing, recruitment, retention, benefits, and other HR-related programs.Provides leadership, direction, and management of staff, including fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment through providing feedback, coaching, support, mentoring, performance management, and training and development activities as appropriate.Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and programs to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.Supports and coaches leaders to ensure effective people management skills are utilized, while also mitigating risk to the organization.Assists in coordinating the salary administration process. Assists in determining relative market value for jobs and completing annual compensation reviews.Oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, benefits and leave, recruitment, employee relations, HR systems, performance management, staff and provider onboarding, and community and employee health.Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices. Reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.Develops and implements departmental budget.Facilitates growth and development for HR staff. Develops an effective HR team that is responsive, collaborative, and effectively engages with SRMC staff.Oversees Community and Employee Health initiatives through supervision of Employee and Community Health RN team.Other duties as assigned by leadership. Education & Experience: Education: Bachelor of Art's or Science degree required. Bachelor's degree in business or HR related field is strongly preferred. Experience: Position requires considerable assertiveness, independent decision making, and excellent organizational and communication skills. 2-3 years of director level experience with progressing responsibilities preferred. 2 years previous HR and Recruitment, service-centered experience is strongly preferred. Required certification: Certification in HR preferred (SHRM, PHR, etc.) Sidney Regional Medical Center is an EEO Employer/Vet/Disabled
