Overview:
The
Director of Implementation Project Management
facilitates implementation of new pharmacy operations and direct quality improvements for the pharmacy implementation process that maximize efficiency, enhance the overall internal and external customer experience, and are consistent with requirements established by state and federal regulatory agencies and accrediting organizations.
Position Location:
This is a remote-based position within the Continental US.
Ideal Candidate Experience Profile:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of work experience & education
5+ years' experience specific to the responsibilities and duties specified with focused experience in Project Management, Healthcare or Pharmacy preferred
Knowledge of Health Center, Health System, Specialty Pharmacy Practice and 340B Drug Discount program
EMR knowledge
Exceptional customer service orientation, leadership, and supervisory skills
Proven ability to lead team members effectively using virtual tools when team members are geographically dispersed
Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
Experience with SmartSheet and Confluence beneficial
Works effectively in situations with limited information and moderate ambiguity
Works effectively in a team environment, and communicates well using virtual tools when team members are geographically dispersed
Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
A self-motivated, self-reliant, self-starter with the ability to achieve broadly communicated objectives under a minimal amount of supervision
Effective "consultative" approach, combined with action-oriented passion
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to direct and establish new store operations by working closely with internal teams, clients, vendors, government agencies, and other key stakeholders to facilitate implementation and development of new pharmacy operations.
Identify opportunities for workflow and process improvements that promote quality and cost containment, enhance the overall implementation experience, and support compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies.
Ensure all projects adhere to project methodology compliance standards set by the company.
Assess and facilitate resolution of all high priority project risks and issues as they are encountered.
Travel as required to support current and future operations.
Assist the Sr. Director, Strategy and PMO to ensure the pharmacies provide optimal services, meet legal and accreditation/certification requirements, and comply with all State Board of Pharmacy Rules and Regulations and Federal (DEA & HIPAA) regulations, and policies and standards of Maxor National Pharmacy Services and its clients.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality of company, personal and sensitive information.
Spend more than one-half of working time on management and leadership duties.
Qualifications:
Education:
