Director Of Institutional Research

The George Washington University (GW) is seeking a Director of Institutional Research to lead and manage institutional research to support Academic Affairs and other university divisions.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $160,000
Reports to: Associate Provost, Academic Planning and Assessment
Location: Washington, DC
The director will be responsible for official reporting of non-financial statistics and advancing data-driven decision-making in collaboration with various campus stakeholders.
The role includes management of staff, oversight of data management and governance, business intelligence, internal and external reporting, and communication.
Responsibilities:Lead and supervise staff, reviewing their work and prioritizing assignments.Assist in hiring decisions and provide coaching to team members.Manage staff performance and foster a collaborative environment.Oversee data management and governance processes.Ensure compliance with reporting requirements to entities like the Department of Education and accreditation agencies.Qualifications:Master's degree and a minimum of four years of experience in institutional research at a regionally accredited institution.Experience with database management systems and proficiency in SQL.Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and Microsoft Office applications.Experience with Enterprise Resource Systems (ERP) such as Banner is preferred.Experience in reporting to accreditation agencies and state reporting is desired.For more information and to apply, please visit: GWU Job Posting.
