Director of Investments:We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Investments to lead our real estate investment efforts. This role will focus on identifying, evaluating, and managing investment opportunities across various property types, ensuring alignment with our financial goals and growth objectives.Key Responsibilities:Investment Strategy: Develop and execute investment strategies to enhance portfolio performance and maximize returns on real estate investments.Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities in hotel, multifamily, office, retail, and industrial sectors.Deal Sourcing & Due Diligence: Oversee the sourcing of new investment opportunities, manage due diligence processes, and advise on deal structuring and execution.Financial Analysis: Analyze complex financial data, including operating agreements, waterfall models, and investment performance metrics.Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior investment staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.Stakeholder Communication: Present investment performance, strategies, and opportunities to senior leadership and the board of directors.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, and other financial partners to support capital raising efforts.Portfolio Management: Monitor and evaluate existing investments to ensure optimal performance and identify value enhancement opportunities.Compliance Oversight: Review legal documents related to investments and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or Accounting; MBA preferred.Experience: Minimum of 7 years in real estate investment management or related fields, with a focus on acquisitions and asset management.Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of various real estate markets, particularly in hotel, multifamily, office, retail, and industrial sectors.Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex financial and statistical data effectively.Leadership Skills: Exceptional project management, organizational, and leadership abilities.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly.Travel: Willingness to travel (up to 30%).Discipline(s): Investment ManagementJob type: Permanent
