Director Of Legal

The Director of Legal at BOXABL will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all legal matters within the company. This includes managing compliance, risk management, contracts, intellectual property, and more.

Job Responsibilities

Provide strategic legal advice to the executive team and other key stakeholders.

Oversee and manage all legal aspects of corporate governance, including board meetings and shareholder relations.

Ensure the company's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor agreements, partnership deals, and employment contracts.

Manage intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.

Handle litigation and dispute resolution, coordinating with external counsel as necessary.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.

Oversee risk management programs, including insurance and regulatory compliance.

Lead and mentor the legal team, fostering a collaborative and proactive legal environment.

Stay up-to-date on relevant legal trends and provide training to staff on legal issues as needed.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Licensed to practice law in Nevada.

Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in a General Counsel role.

Proven track record in managing a broad range of legal matters, including corporate governance, contracts, compliance, and intellectual property.
