Director of LogisticsLocation: Austin, TX (Gateway area)Responsible for optimizing inventory availability and shipment delivery, overseeing international and domestic transportation, warehousing and distribution, and trade compliance.

Responsibilities
• Assess capabilities of service providers, drive rate negotiations, and evaluate logistics networks• Develop short-term and long-term strategies to optimize transportation, trade compliance, warehousing, and final mile delivery• Discover and develop outsourced service providers, oversee trade compliance and product classifications• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement operational processes and drive continuous improvement• Oversee recovery and disposition of customer returns and develop value-added services• Implement KPI objectives and metrics, assess and promote supplier performance and development• Mentor and develop a team of logistics professionals, ensure accurate financial reporting• Provide insight and transparency of logistical network dynamics
Requirements
• BS degree in Logistics or Supply Chain• 10 years' leadership experience in Logistics in the Consumer Electronics or IT industry• Strong analytical skills and experience in international trade and direct-to-consumer logistics• Proactive supply chain risk management• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skills• Ability to interpret contractual terms and conditions
