The director will manage our infrastructure and ensure all internal systems operate securely and effectively.
This role maintains responsibility over four production plants.
To be successful in this role, you should be confident managing our teams while setting goals, budgets, and timelines for various projects, all while maintaining a safe workplace.
We also expect you to oversee our integrations with external partners and oversee all development plans from ideation to execution, assuring we use innovative technologies that maximize our productivity and help our company grow.
Responsibilities: Hire, maintain, and develop a competent team of mechanicsOversee front-end and back-end engineering and maintenance teams and their projectsEnsure compliance with Cal OSHA regulations and industry standardsPrepare and manage the maintenance department's budgetDesign strategies for future development projects based on the company's overall objectives and resourcesIdentify and recommend leading technological and systems improvements three to five years out when planning capitalImplement innovative technologiesCoordinate with internal and external stakeholders for new integrations and toolsPrepare RFPs, presentations, and quotes for projectsReview and update policies relevant to internal systems and equipmentWork closely with the VP of Corporate CapitalCollaborate with general managers at each locationDemonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with strong presentation skillsRequirements and Skills: 5 to 8 years of work experience as a Director of Maintenance or in a similar senior-level position in a maintenance departmentPrevious experience managing teamsExperience managing software development projects by setting requirements, goals, and timelinesExtensive experience with cloud technologies and modern human-computer interfacesHands-on experience in back-end and front-end execution of maintenance and engineering plans and projectsExcellent understanding of agile methodologiesLeadership abilities with a strategic mindsetExcellent project management skillsBSc/MSc in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering), Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering field required
