Director Of Maternal Child Health, Rn

Performs quality improvement initiatives, completes routine chart audits and annual reviews

Completes on-site supervisory visits as necessary

Provides clinical guidance to nursing and support personnel

Works with Administrator in grant and new program development

Directs and coordinates the activities of assigned clinics and staff

Ensure program and individual staff competencies are met

Works with Director of Finance, monitors all program financial reports / status and assists in budget preparation and adherence

Attends regular Board of health meeting and prepares reports for such meetings

Requires graduation from a school of nurses approved by the Department of Professional Regulation and an Illinois license as a Registered Nurse by examination; and a bachelor's degree in nursing and two (2) years of full-time experience in a family-centered nursing program in a community health agency or health department.
