Director Of Med/Surg

Job Summary: The Department Director is responsible for daily management and administrative authority and responsibility for the management of the operational personnel and activities of the Department.
These functions are preferred collaboration with Hospital Administration, Division Directors, Medical Staff, and others and are performed in accordance with Suburban Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
MSN preferredCurrent Maryland Licensure as Registered NurseCertification in area specialty preferred but not requiredAt least three years' current RN experience in clinical areaPrevious experience as charge RN desirable
