The Role We are seeking a Director of New Partnerships or Director of New Business (title flexible). Woolf has product-market fit with its primary customer profile, and you will open new business lines by defining new ICPs and working to create the first sales, leading to Woolf's next phase of growth. New business will focus on creating a customer vertical into which we can hire >10 account executives to sell Woolf products and services – initially focussing on corporate L&D and corporate R&D, but also other strategic initiatives, like EdTech platforms (e.g., Coursera) This position is in the CEO Office Key Responsibilities Work closely with the CEO, the existing Director of New Business, and cross-functionally with sales ops and marketing support to identify and explore opportunities, mapping the target organization, meeting with leadership figures, discovering the business value, and closing the first deals Requirements MUST
Management Consulting or GTM background Start up experience Experience with top educational institutions (as a student or consultant) You must have experience opening new markets and closing new deals SHOULD
Excellent communication and client-side demeanor High-energy, competitive, and hardworking You're high energy, high throughput, high IQ, and highly organized with a thorough attention to detail.
You prefer simplicity over complexity where ever possible, but you see the details. You're able to move up and down the ladder from strategic planning, to project managment, to detailed IC work in order to support team members or fill in gaps. You're able to work in a tech start up, balancing focus, follow-through, and reprioritizations NICE TO HAVE
