We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Director of Nursing (DON) to become a pivotal part of our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and enhance the overall quality of nursing services within designated units. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the interdisciplinary team, residents, families, physicians, and staff. Provide hands-on nursing care and support tailored to the specific needs of residents. Engage actively in the creation, execution, and assessment of the facility's performance improvement initiatives. In partnership with the Administrator, lead the assigned nursing units in alignment with CHI Living Communities' established policies and practices. Guide the Staff Development Manager/Nurse in developing, executing, and coordinating in-service training programs to enhance the capabilities of our nursing service team. Qualifications: Must possess a valid Ohio RN license. A minimum of five years of clinical experience in geriatric nursing required. Minimum of five years in a management capacity is necessary. Current CPR certification is essential. Preferred: Experience in long-term care, proficiency with MDS/RAP Summaries, care planning, and a solid understanding of Total Quality Improvement processes.
