As Director of Operations, you are a change agent in taking an entrepreneurial approach to leading the operations of a multimillion dollar, multifamily portfolio comprised of apartment home communities.
The Business Owner
Run your own asset operations mini-empire by building on your already vast knowledge of the real estate world Act as the COO of your portfolio by overseeing and shaping its day-to-day operations Oversee fiduciary planning and governance, assess performance, create action plans to exceed goals, and engage in creative problem-solving – especially when it comes to residents Operate with a forward-thinking mindset, maintaining an awareness of growth and the capability to scale larger The Team Leader

Collaborate with your Director of Investments to ensure that each community in your shared portfolio is performing in accordance with its business plan Form constructive partnerships with your regional support teams (Marketing, Facilities, and Training), Construction Management team (during renovations), and Operations Support team for maximum performance success Display your in-depth understanding of managing budgets and executing financial success in your partnership with the Investment team and as you get hands-on with acquisitions and building pro forma The Impact You Can Make

Your teams are highly motivated and know that they can always turn to you for inspiration on how to find solutions to any problem that arises. Your portfolio's operations are in lock-step with each asset's business plan, and each of your communities is performing in line with strategic goals.
