Director Of Operations

Director of Operations:
A custom steel fabricator with over 20 tears in operation outside of the Dallas is seeking a Director of Operations to join their team. The Director of Operations is responsible for developing and overseeing a streamlined operations team in order for the department to be cohesive, efficient, and able to meet on-time project deliverables and customer expectations.
Major Objectives & Key deliverables:
* Clear lines of collaborative communication
* Clear and efficient Standard Operating Procedures
* Foresight and proactivity of project challenges
* Build a unified operations team: Train- Refine-Retrain-Retain
* Ability to lead under pressure
* Resilience
* Strategic Thinker with implementation
Requirements:
* Must have 1-3 years AISC fabricator experience
* Project management experience in either construction or manufacturing required
* 10 year's of management and leadership experience required
* Bachelor's degree required
* Comprehension knowledge of construction documents including but not limited to drawings, specifications, scope documents, and bid forms required.
* Ability to develop a team and mentor/coach employees required
* Construction management and estimating knowledge preferred.
* Participated and/or led strategic planning preferred
* Lean management experience preferred
* Contract negotiation skills preferred
