About this Opportunity: As a Director of Operations, you will drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence across the company. You will lead cross-functional teams, implement innovative solutions, and ensure that business operations align with strategic goals to maximize efficiency and growth. You will guide and support the operations team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. With a focus on project management, process improvement and performance reporting, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's mission and objectives.
Responsibilities: Tranche Management & Fulfillment:
Collaborate with sales and technology teams to plan and manage asset purchase and sale tranches, ensuring all transactions are processed promptly and accurately.Operations Data Integrity:
Establishing processes and workflows to ensure ongoing data integrity from sales to operations, including but not limited to document management and underwriting.Operational Leadership:
Lead and manage the Underwriting Manager, overseeing both presale and post-sale processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.Strategic Project Management:
Lead and manage complex projects using Gantt charting and other analytics to outline dependencies and track progress. Establish a proactive weekly cadence for progress reviews and feedback, ensuring all initiatives advance efficiently and align with company objectives.Advanced Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across various processes. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and improve service quality. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all key processes.Enhanced Performance Reporting:
Support the overall implementation of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). Oversee departmental milestones on a quarterly, monthly and weekly basis, adhering to the cadence of scorecards set by Managing Partners and tracking performance to meet these goals. Set up projects within Zoho in alignment with EOS guidelines, utilizing Gantt charts, milestones, and dependencies. Track and manage departmental issue lists, monitoring and addressing key concerns. Key Performance Metrics: Tranche Management & Fulfillment: All purchases and sales fulfilled on time, with 100% data and document accuracy.Project Completion Impact: Projects completed on budget and on time.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Oversee the KPIs of the Underwriter Manager. Compensation and Work Environment: Independent Contractor with an hourly base pay based on experience with bonus.Physical setting is remote with once a quarter team travel for meeting.
