We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to join our growing team. This is a unique player/coach role, where you will be hands-on in building our outbound sales motion while gradually hiring and coaching a team of sales professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling to MSPs, preferably with experience in cybersecurity SaaS products.
Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive outbound sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetrationConduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, understand competitive dynamics, and refine sales strategiesActively engage in the sales process, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals, to set the standard for the sales teamRecruit, hire, and train a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvementSet clear performance metrics, monitor team performance, and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targetsProvide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and support to sales team members to enhance their skills and performanceWork closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiativesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyaltyDevelop and deliver regular sales performance reports and forecasts to senior leadershipRequirements 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales leadership role. Proven experience in selling to MSPs and a strong understanding of the MSP market is required. Experience with cybersecurity SaaS products is highly preferredDemonstrated success in outbound sales, lead generation, and closing deals. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skillsProven ability to build, lead, and inspire a sales team. Strong coaching and mentoring skillsProven success at developing and implementing effective sales strategies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsA customer-centric approach with the ability to build and maintain strong relationshipsA track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growthProficient with CRM software and sales toolsFamiliarity with cybersecurity concepts and solutions is a plus
