POSITION SUMMARY:The Director of Post-Retail Operations provides leadership and oversight for outlet, salvage and recycling and distribution operations for the Donated Goods & Retail Division. This role is responsible for maximizing financial performance of all post-retail points of sale and plays a lead role in Goodwill's sustainability initiatives including reducing waste through diversion efforts and creating circular solutions for post-consumer household goods.
This position will direct warehouse inventory management, distribution, forecasting, and customer service for internal and external stakeholders, and serves as a member of the Leadership Council.
Duties will also include but are not limited to: Lead, support, and ensure accountability of outlet store and salvage operations management to achieve financial and sustainability objectives.Direct the coordination of inbound or outbound distribution operations, such as warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.Analyze the financial impact of proposed distribution changes, such as shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency.Keep staff informed of all Goodwill initiatives, policy changes and updates, and other general company information.Recruit, interview, and hire staff.Hiring Range: $74,880-$77,875.20
Schedule: Will vary, must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Travel: Local travel may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree AND at least 2 years of experience in material movement, logistics, warehousing, or similar.Supervisory experience is highly preferred.REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH).Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
