Job Description

Lead and manage audits from customers or other entities (IATF) to sustain high-quality performance

Assist Project management in product development through PFMEA and Control Plans

Provide leadership and direction in the development of effective quality policies and programs which ensure that the organization produces quality products

Train and manage plant contacts to successfully support Plant managers on the 8D corrective action projects

Facilitate and assist plants in defining and successfully completing Quality Objectives

Manage Supplier Approval and Development program

Work with cross-functional teams for follow-up on internal corrective actions

Other duties as assigned

The Successful Applicant

5+ years of leadership/management experience.

5 to 8 years of Quality engineering experience is required

Working knowledge of core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP)

4 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of and experience with IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 quality standards
