Emburse is looking for a passionate software quality engineering leader to contribute to the development of an engaging and interconnected set of system solutions. As the Director, Quality Engineering at Emburse, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end quality of Emburse Enterprise (formerly known as Emburse Chrome River), managing a team of quality engineers and working closely with engineering leadership and cross-functional partners to produce high quality software. At the same time, you'll be jointly responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale technical efforts as well acting as a functional expert and mentor and leader for quality engineers.
\n What you'll do:Assure high-quality products and output with appropriate standards and processesEstablish quality standards and metrics including effective measurementsOversee and manage release processes, ensuring smooth deployment cycles from planning to productionEstablish and maintain a unified automation testing framework and ensure coverage across functional, regression, integration, and performance testingStreamline processes from code commit to production release, reducing deployment friction and maximizing automationTake personal responsibility for the quality and maintainability of the product and actively identify areas for improvementRecruit, train, and develop QA personnelInstill a positive team culture and encourage professional growthDevelop long-term quality assurance plansRegularly analyze and report on quality metrics to stakeholdersAssess potential risks associated with product quality and releasesLeverage your knowledge in quality test practices to elevate the test practices of engineering teamsMentor and guide quality engineers of all skill levelsGive constructive feedback to team membersLearn industry jargon and business concepts to better understand the challenges our technology is designed to solveStay updated on industry trends and advancements in QAEvaluate and adopt new testing tools and technologies What we're looking for:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of experienceMinimum of 5 years in management/leadershipMinimum of 10 years professional experience in Quality AssuranceExperience in hands-on automation tests preferredMinimum of 5 years experience working in a large-scale, distributed, SaaS companyExperience working in a scrum and DevOps environmentGood understanding of agile application development lifecycleStrong written and verbal communicationAdvanced analytical skills
