We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to join our team, overseeing therapy services at our facility in Kenosha. This pivotal leadership role is ideal for a therapist with strong clinical experience or an aspiring manager ready to take the next step in their career. The Director of Rehab will guide and manage the rehab team, providing strategic oversight, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes, and maintaining compliance.
As a key member of our leadership team, this role offers the opportunity to make a substantial impact on the quality of patient care and the operational success of our rehab services. You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to create a culture of excellence, focusing on fostering strong team engagement, improving clinical practices, and driving patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the rehab department, ensuring that staff are well-supported and the highest standards of care are delivered.Team Development & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of therapists, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists, as well as therapy assistants. Foster professional growth through coaching, training, and feedback to create a cohesive and motivated team.Patient Care Excellence: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation services, assessing and improving treatment plans to meet individual patient goals. Monitor and evaluate patient progress to optimize clinical outcomes.Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all rehab services are in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Monitor documentation and billing practices to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with nursing staff, physicians, and other care providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the full spectrum of patient needs. Act as a key liaison between the rehab team and other departments to streamline communication and care coordination.Program Development: Drive the development and enhancement of therapy programs that meet the evolving needs of patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). Identify opportunities for expanding service offerings, improving efficiency, and achieving clinical excellence.Budget Management & Resource Allocation: Oversee the rehab department's budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively. Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, and make recommendations for investments in new technologies to enhance patient care. Qualifications: Must have experience working in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), with a deep understanding of the unique demands of long-term care environments.Active licensure in Occupational Therapy (OTR), Physical Therapy (PT), or Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). Candidates with licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will also be considered, provided they have significant experience and leadership potential.Demonstrated ability to manage and lead multidisciplinary teams.Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven track record of driving positive clinical outcomes.Strong understanding of rehab billing, documentation, and regulatory requirements.A results-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement, efficiency, and staff engagement. Compensation: For licensed therapists (OTR, PT, or SLP): $85,000 - $93,000For COTA or PTA licensed candidates: $73,000 - $80,000 If you're a therapist with a passion for leadership and are ready to take on a broader management role, we encourage you to apply!
