Job Title: Director of Rehab (Interim DOR)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Rehab (Interim DOR) to lead our rehabilitation department on a temporary basis. The Interim DOR will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the rehabilitation program, including managing staff, creating individualized treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy, as well as previous experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities and Duties: Develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs for patientsSupervise and mentor rehab staff, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapistsMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patientsMaintain accurate records and documentation of patient treatmentEnsure compliance with all state and federal regulationsParticipate in strategic planning and budgeting for the rehabilitation departmentQualifications and Skills: Master's or Doctorate degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapyCurrent state license in therapy disciplineMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within a rehabilitation settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of current trends and best practices in rehabilitation therapyProven track record of successful program development and implementationJob Type: Contract
