The Director of Sales will oversee the sales department to drive revenue growth through the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives. This role involves leading the sales team, creating and implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and collaborating with other departments to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and business performance. Responsibilities: • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and • market share goals. • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to enhance performance and meet • targets. • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching. • Revenue Management: Work closely with the Revenue Management team to optimize pricing strategies • and inventory controls. • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed. • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the • hotel's client base. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and travel agencies. • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and • materials. • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions. • Sales Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management. • Track key performance indicators and adjust strategies to improve outcomes. • Guest Relations: Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving issues • promptly. • Oversee the execution of events and group bookings to ensure smooth operations. • Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales department budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness • and efficiency. • Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where appropriate. Qualifications: • Proven experience in a sales leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably with a focus on hotel sales. • Hilton background preferred but not required. • Experience with systems such as ONQ, RI, GRO and Delphi preferred. • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. • Proficiency in sales and CRM software, and MS Office Suite. Compensation: $90,000- $100,000 DOE
