Southern Trade Publications is an award-winning publisher of trade journals, consumer guides and magazines in web and print formats. While our primary content is in the housing space, including new home, custom construction, retirement housing including active adult communities, independent living communities and life plan communities, we also include attorneys, mortgage brokers and other ancillary segments. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Media Sales and Marketing Executive. The position pays base plus commissions. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of outside sales, be well versed in working with today's digital marketing and advertising platforms, have excellent follow-through, have experience creating marketing programs that utilize: targeted digital marketing, social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, redirect marketing ad programs, SEO and SEM, geo-fencing and geo-targeting. The candidate must also have an understanding of how custom video can be used in the marketing mix to package video products to advertisers as well as how to build and leverage a podcast audience to an advertiser's benefit. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with new and longstanding clients to establish and build rapport into trusting and long-lasting relationships. Develop results driven marketing solutions across multiple platforms that tie together digital, video and print with in-house production from beginning to end including: conceptualization, story-boarding, scripting, copy writing, filming, posting, layout, production and distribution. Develop and execute sales strategies which exceed internal revenue targets and grow our clients' business.  Demonstrate an ability to think creatively, sell strategically and communicate effectively internally and externally.  Have a dedicated and driven work ethic.  Update client and prospect information in CRM database daily Work closely with Accounts Receivable and sales team to maintain current and collectible aging.  Grow advertising sales revenue and exceed revenue goals by prospecting and closing new business.  Regularly manage agency and client relationships.  Perform other duties as assigned.  REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience preferred.  Minimum three-year experience in Sales, preferably in the Digital Advertising field.  Current knowledge of digital ad technology, online ad serving, 3rd party research skills such as Google Analytics.  IAB and Google AdWords certification a plus.  Proficiency in MS Office products required.  Google certification preferred.  Fluency in English; with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.  Occasional travel required; must be able to work extended hours if needed.  Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, and dependable transportation
