This pivotal role drives our mission to deliver exceptional aesthetic services by achieving business growth and revenue targets.
The Director of Sales will be based in New Jersey and requires extensive travel to ensure alignment and execution of sales strategies within each center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to:
Strategic Sales Leadership: Participate in the formulation of sales targets for each center and region.
Collaborate with senior management to align these targets with the overall business objectives.Sales Training & Development: Train and mentor center team members on diagnosing business results, formulating strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, and executing effective consultative sales techniques.Performance Accountability: Hold center managers accountable for achieving sales targets.
Implement performance metrics and regular monitoring to ensure sales objectives are met.Sales Coaching: Provide ongoing coaching to enhance the sales skills of center staff, focusing on consultative selling, customer engagement, overcoming objections and closing techniques.Direct Sales Involvement: Conduct sales consultations, close sales deals, and perform business development activities to expand client base and market reach.Business Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and local conditions to adapt sales strategies as necessary.
Ensure the sales team is responsive to the dynamic market environment.KPI Management: Focus on key performance indicators such as increasing Average Sale Price, boosting Membership sign-ups, enhancing Retail Sales as a percentage of revenue, improving New Client Conversion Rate, elevating Returning Client Rates, and optimizing Client Lifetime Value.Motivation and Recognition: Foster a motivating and inspiring work environment.
Recognize and celebrate performance milestones and exceptional achievements to maintain high morale and encourage continuous improvement.Regular Performance Reviews: Conduct weekly and monthly touch base meetings with managers to review performance outcomes and strategic adjustments.
These sessions will focus on providing feedback, setting expectations, and sharing best practices.Team Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Marketing, and Operations to ensure a cohesive approach to sales growth and customer satisfaction.Reporting: Maintain accurate records of center visits, trainings conducted, sales performance, budget management, and strategic plan outcomes.
Regularly report to senior leadership on progress and challenges.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this job:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience within a multi-unit business environment, preferably in healthcare, retail, or service industries.
Demonstrated upward career trajectory, with a strong preference for candidates who have progressed from ground-level positions to leadership roles, ensuring a practical understanding of operational roles and challenges.
Proven track record in developing and leading training programs, with certifications in 'Leaders as Coaches' or similar frameworks.
Extensive experience with various training modalities tailored to adult learning, sales techniques, and performance improvement.Skills: Leadership: Demonstrable ability to inspire, motivate, and lead teams towards achieving sales excellence.
Must be capable of fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Analytics: Strong analytical skills to assess complex sales data and market trends to make informed strategic decisions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas and instructions to a diverse team.
Stakeholder Relationship Management: Skilled at managing relationships across all levels of an organization and with external partners, ensuring alignment and cooperative efforts towards shared goals.CONDITIONS AND DEMANDS OF WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
