Responsibilities
• Coordinate all group transient and catering sales solicitations to maximize revenue• Develop and manage the division's annual budget and marketing plans• Conduct outside sales calls, sales tours, and entertain clients• Maintain market awareness and evaluate trends• Train hotel staff on recognizing and capitalizing on sales opportunities• Maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations• Attend meetings and functions required by management• Maintain professional working relationships with marketing partners and internal departments• Travel on a weekly basis as required• Act on behalf of General Manager in their absence
Requirements
• At least 3 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred• Valid driver's license• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office products• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks• Strong organization and presentation skills• Ability to interact and manage people of diverse backgrounds• Knowledge of sales/marketing/hospitality principles and practices• Ability to work well in high-pressure situations• Ability to work with financial information and basic arithmetic• FOSSE experience a plus
