Opportunity to join an exciting fiber broadband start-up. The individual will play a foundational role in building the consumer sales organization, developing the over-arching strategy, and executing across various channels including; direct sales (door-to-door, outbound sales), e-commerce channels, and community partnerships. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building high-performing consumer sales teams. This suits someone who can excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and maintain a positive attitude in stressful and demanding situations.
\n As part of this team, you will: Develop a multi-channel sales strategy (outside, inside, indirect sales).Ensure successful operational execution by setting clear goals, processes, and providing teams with tools and training for effective execution.Recruit, train, and lead sales teams, overseeing both outside and inside sales while managing local field marketing.Own revenue and sales targets, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to senior leadership on a consistent cadence.Identify and secure strategic partnerships with local businesses and community organizations to expand sales reach and engagement.Collaborate with marketing to design localized campaigns, enhance brand awareness, and align sales strategies with broader initiatives.Oversee sponsorships and community event participation to boost brand presence and customer acquisition.Track and manage sales performance through CRM tools, making data-driven adjustments to strategies.Lead team development through ongoing training, professional growth, and performance reviews to foster a high-performing sales organization.Monitor market trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive edge. Preferred expertise & experience Proven experience in sales leadership, managing both inside and outside sales teams in a fast-paced environment.Strong track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets, ideally within telecommunications, broadband, or a related industry.Expertise in multi-channel sales strategies, including direct (door-to-door) and indirect sales channels.Hands-on experience in developing and executing sales processes, training programs, and team performance management.Proficient in sales forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning with a focus on meeting P&L objectives.Strong understanding of CRM tools and sales analytics to track performance and optimize sales strategies.Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.Ability to adapt and respond to market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
