Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies for technology sales, leasing, and service in California, with a focus on beverage container recycling (glass, plastic, aluminum). Lead and grow the California sales and service team to achieve profitable growth. Drive revenue and profit to support the company's North American strategy. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders including retail and recycling organizations, government agencies, and redemption centers. Develop solutions using the company's technology to support sustainable revenue growth. Work with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance) to create scalable solutions. Collaborate with Public Affairs to modernize California's Deposit Return Systems. Manage multiple cross-functional projects to ensure successful execution. Ensure compliance with the company's safety standards and guidelines. Supervise director-level positions, handling hiring, training, performance appraisals, and resolving issues. Requirements: 12-15 years of experience in technology sales, business development, supply chain, or operations management in equipment, retail grocery, waste management/recycling, or related industries. Minimum 5 years of experience leveraging strong connections in California to grow a business. Proven experience with complex financial and pricing models and analysis. Strong understanding of consultative sales and business value propositions. Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs. Highly resourceful, proactive team-player with problem-solving abilities. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to various stakeholders. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
