The team is seeking an experienced professional to serve as Director of Structural Engineering to join their team in California. In this position, you will be a key member of the leadership team of structural engineering services for the company's California operations. You will regularly interact with senior architectural management and prospective external clients and oversee project team performance and overall client satisfaction.
Your Impact Establish divisional goals and growth strategies that will allow the structural engineering division to serve all offices.Maintain a strong culture of client service and innovation within the structural group that is modeled after the company's core ideologies.Ensure that all projects are subjected to a thorough QA/QC review process.Participate in all state-wide strategic planning sessions with top California leadership.Monitor project performance standards, accountability, and efficiency.Manage the financial performance of the division with respect to staffing and profitability.Collaborate with the HR department to establish a plan of action to attract top-level talent.Here's What You Need: S.E. in the State of California.15 years of professional experience in engineering, including management experience.Extension experience working with the Division of State Architects.Client-oriented personality.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills.This role has the flexibility to work from one of the following office locations: San Diego, Anaheim, Rancho Cucamonga, Los Angeles, Folsom, Berkeley, or Fresno.
