Dollars: $54.9 Million. Industry: Packaging. Position Highlights Title: Director of Supply Chain. Full Time Direct Hire. Background Requirements Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred. Proven experience (at least 5 years) in a senior supply chain management role within a manufacturing environment, preferably high variability/low volume and within a highly competitive industry. Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and achieving cost savings, reduction of lead times related to materials delivery. Job Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high quality and timely delivery standards. Evaluate new suppliers on an ongoing basis and visit supplier facilities to assess their ability to provide advanced technology and robust quality components at competitive prices. Manage supply chain team to meet or exceed targeted goals each year related to on-time delivery for both aftermarket business and new machine builds. Develop annual targets and goals to support the operations of the company. What is Being Offered Challenge: Strategic leader responsible for all functionality of the Supply Chain. Develop strategic relationships with suppliers to meet pricing and lead time expectations. Create a scalable supplier base to meet the growing needs of the company while maintaining and reducing costs.
