Position Overview
The Director of Supply Chain Optimization will manage and optimize all processes and tools across the team. They will find efficiencies in our processes and recommend system and tool improvements to enable the greater team to function efficiently. This position will also be the system owner and administrator for the supply chain management system and other systems as assigned. They will be responsible for delivering data and insights from the SCM system to support informed decision making.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or relevant experience, required
5+ years in a supply chain management role, project management role or similar leadership position, required
Partner with business users on various supply chain process simplification and user experience continuous improvement programs. This will require a base-level knowledge of how SaaS and BI tools function.
Have working knowledge across all other ERP modules or relevant non-SCM systems to effectively drive integrated solutions. Experience with Arrowstream, a Supply Chain based ERP, and forecasting tools is preferred.
Location Requirement:
This position is required to be in Phoenix, Arizona and requires 4 days/week in office (Monday-Thursday).
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
Develop and Implement Processes and Tools:
Drive cross-functional initiatives related to Supply Chain information and systems, including but not limited to inventory management (both at the shop and distribution center level), price auditing, contract management, service ticketing systems, food safety + quality control monitoring, nutritional database, and forecasting and planning solutions. This includes sourcing solutions, supporting the selection of tools, integration, and training of all Supply Chain systems.
Develop and implement new processes to ensure data integrity and consistency across the different systems and tools used on the team. Support customized reporting and scorecarding across the team.
Continually audit the use of all tools on the team and recommend improvements to drive efficiencies. Manage the implementation and administration of Supply Chain tools.
Research and present future facing solutions, such as transparency tools and IoT solutions.
Integrate and Maintain the SCM System:
Integrate the SCM system into the daily operations of the Supply Chain team enhancing efficiency and decision-making.
Create and deliver reports out of the system to the wider team to enhance visibility of our spend across the full network.
Coordinate with vendor and distribution partners to optimize functionalities of the system.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to supply chain systems.
Maintain Data & Tool Integrity and Provide Training to Team Members as Needed:
Oversee the collection, validation, and integration of data from various sources within the supply chain.
Ensure ongoing data consistency and accuracy of supply chain data within systems and tools.
Collaborate with vendor partners, finance, and BI teams to address and resolve data quality issues in a timely manner.

Physical Requirements
In-Office Environment: Must be able to work in a busy, crowded, and loud office with frequent distractions and interruptions.
Must be able to collaborate in-person with occasional impromptu in-person meetings.
Office Conditions: Adaptability to typical office conditions, which may include exposure to air conditioning, heating, artificial lighting, and varying noise levels.
Mobility: Ability to sit, stand, reach, twist, stretch, and work at a desk for long stretches. Must be able to occasionally move or lift office items up to 25 pounds.
Hearing Requirements: Hearing must be sufficient or correctable to ensure clear understanding of spoken information, including participating in virtual meetings and phone calls. Use of hearing aids or other assistive devices is acceptable if needed.
Reading and Writing Proficiency: Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing documents, drafting reports, and following up on necessary actions. Proficiency in written communication is required to handle job-related tasks effectively.
Vision Requirements: Vision must be adequate or correctable to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents on a computer screen and using other visual tools. Use of corrective lenses or other measures to meet visual requirements is expected if needed.
Technology Proficiency: Must be proficient in operating a computer and other office productivity tools such as printers, scanners, and collaboration software.
Effective Communication: Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders via email, video conferencing, and other in office communication tools.
Compensation:
$134,989.83 - DOE
