Job Posting: Director of Surgical Services
Location: Riverside, California
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Surgical Services to join our prestigious 517-bed acute care hospital.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a large perioperative team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee 17 operating rooms across multiple facilities Lead and develop a team of 100+ FTEs, including 3 managers Manage all aspects of surgical services, including quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency Drive growth and improve patient, physician, and staff satisfaction Implement strategies to enhance operational excellence and patient safety Oversee fiscal management and capital equipment planning Cultivate strong relationships with physicians and staff Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred Current RN license in California Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in surgical services Previous director-level experience in a comparable setting is mandatory CNOR and CSSM certifications preferred Strong background in improving operational efficiency and quality metrics Excellent communication and relationship-building skills What We Offer: Competitive salary (please inquire for details) Full-time position with no weekend shifts Comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to work in a Level 1 trauma center with advanced surgical capabilities
