About the role... Our Director of Talent Acquisition, Tech will be responsible for the recruiting strategy for our Engineering and Product teams. You will lead and mentor a team of recruiters, partner with cross-functional People teams, and collaborate with leaders and hiring managers across the organization to meet the organization's hiring goals. Your role will involve overseeing the screening, interviewing, and hiring processes, ensuring we attract high-quality candidates while fostering an inclusive, engaging, and positive candidate experience.

Lead a team of seasoned recruiters to fill software engineering and product management requisitions, across our global locations Be ready to roll up your sleeves and work with the team to develop a rich pipeline of top technical talent Work closely with senior leaders and hiring managers in planning and meeting hiring goals Collaborate with hiring managers and interviewers to train, consult, and deliver a consistently distinct and positive experience that reflects Duolingo's mission and values Partner with the relevant Talent Acquisition and People Team Partners to build efficient and effective tools and strategies Continuously leverage data and research to guide and influence our recruiting strategy Continuously evolve our assessment practices to drive inclusive and objective evaluation processes Provide technical recruiting thought leadership to the Talent Acquisition team Uphold and share the Duolingo culture and brand   You have... Ability to work full-time from or relocate to Pittsburgh, PA 10+ years of engineering and product recruitment experience at a similar or later-stage tech company 5+ years of leading tech recruiting teams Consistent track record of effectively managing people, including developing talent on your team and recruiting and leading a diverse team that reflects our learners Excellent written and verbal communication skills that lead to effective and concrete output Experience defining, influencing, and measuring a successful recruiting strategy An understanding and appreciation for the accurate application of data and metrics in recruiting Attention to detail and a focus on excellence   Exceptional candidates will have... We post a multi-level salary range for all of our roles. This is not inclusive of the rest of our awesome portfolio that includes equity compensation and world-class benefits. Our salary ranges are the same for all US locations. Your recruiter can share more details about the range for a specific level during the hiring process. The actual salary within the range is determined by many factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Salary Range:
$140,000—$252,000 USD
