Director Of Technical Training And Safety

The Director of Technical Training and Safety is responsible for coordinating and delivering electrical distribution line technician training as well as documenting and tracking employee training records, providing technical training and loss control and training programs at member cooperatives, and serving as a technical resource for safe work practices and regulatory compliance at member cooperatives.
Applicants must have 10 years of experience as a journeyman lineman. An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred, or if no degree, a commitment to obtaining a bachelor's degree is required. Applicants should be knowledgeable in OSHA, EPA, DHEC, and DOT regulations and ANSI, ASTM, NESC, and RUS standards. A Certified Loss Control Professional (CLCP) certification is desired. Experience in training or instructional techniques and curriculum development is preferred. Applicants must also be service oriented and work well on teams.
