We are seeking a Director of UAS Enterprise Sales that will lead the business development and sales efforts focusing on enterprise UAS customers, Drones as a First Responder (DFR) and UAS network services. This role will be pivotal in expanding our market presence among large enterprise drone operators, DFR, and key stakeholders in drone corridors, federal states, and municipalities. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry expertise, a proven track record in sales and business development, and the ability to build lasting relationships with strategic partners. Duties and Responsibilities:Sales and Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute a robust sales and business development strategy aimed at driving revenue growth and expanding market share within the UAS avionics and network services sectors.Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Identify, engage, and secure new clients, including large enterprise drone operators and public-sector entities. Foster strong, long-term relationships with these clients to ensure continued growth and partnership.Market Penetration: Spearhead initiatives to penetrate new markets and establish uAvionix as the preferred provider of UAS avionics and network services.Product and Service Promotion: Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to effectively promote uAvionix's products and services, ensuring alignment with market needs and customer expectations.Partnership Development: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key industry players, including technology partners, regulatory bodies, and industry associations, to enhance the company's market positioning.Sales Process Optimization: Continuously refine and improve the sales processes to increase efficiency, close rates, and customer satisfaction.Industry Insight and Trend Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and keep uAvionix at the cutting edge of UAS technology.Reporting and Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular performance reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations to support decision-making. Required Skills and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Excellent planning, organization, and management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, inclusive of proposal writing. Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.Vigorous business acumen, excellent customer service skills and a strategic mindset.Organization skills and outstanding knowledge of data management skills. Ability to faithfully represent uAvionix products, culture, and solutions at industry events such as trade shows, webinars, speaking roles, or written materials such as articles and blogs.Ability to work with the customer to advise on developing and designing coverage volumes for surveillance (cooperative and non-cooperative) and command and control (C2).  Ability to work with customers through the BVLOS waiver/exemption application process.Ability to travel on average 50% of the time to meet with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent experience is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise sales, with at least 5 years in the UAS industryComprehensive understanding of UAS avionics, network services, and the regulatory environment surrounding drone operations. Demonstrated success in driving sales and business development in a technical, B2B environment, particularly with drone OEMs and large enterprises.Proven leadership skills with experience in building and leading high-performance sales teams.Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders across various industries.Strong analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to sales strategy and decision-making. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
