The Director of Product Management, Commerce Media will support PubMatic's product efforts for our portfolio of Commerce and Retail Media products. As a senior member of the product team for Commerce, this person will have input into product strategy and ensure strong execution across the product portfolio. Commerce Media is a fast-growing platform in PubMatic's omnichannel portfolio and thus, this role provides an experienced product Manager with the opportunity to have an enormous impact and accelerate business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of demonstrated success in building and taking to market Commerce or Retail Media products and a full grasp of the Commerce and Retail Media advertising space and its evolution over the last 5 years. They will understand programmatic advertising from both the buy and sell side, including what motivates buyers and sellers of Commerce advertising with respect to technology decision making. They will have a full spectrum of product management skills. This includes defining vision, setting product strategy, evangelizing their products, assessing competition, and collaborating with engineering, operations, and marketing to drive the successful delivery and adoption of their platform.
Responsibilities:As a senior member of the product management team, you will be responsible for product vision, product strategy, and execution of your product portfolio.
Product Strategy: Support the VP of Product in driving the overall product strategy and vision for PubMatic's Commerce Media division, aligning with the company's objectives and market trends.Product Roadmap: Define and prioritize the product roadmap based on customer feedback, market analysis, and business goals, ensuring a competitive edge and addressing market needs.Product Development: Support product development process, working closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment. Expect to roll up your sleeves.Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business objectives.Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify opportunities, inform product decisions, and drive continuous improvement.Customer Engagement: Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to understand customer needs, gather feedback, and develop customer-centric product offerings.Product Launch: Drive successful product launches, coordinating with marketing and sales teams to ensure effective go-to-market strategies and enablement.Performance Tracking: Define and track key product metrics, analyze performance data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance and user experience.Requirements:5+ years in product management with extensive experience in programmatic advertising and deep knowledge of Commerce and Retail mediaProven track record of successfully driving product strategy and leading the development of innovative, market-leading products.Strong understanding of digital advertising, e-commerce, and data-driven marketing technologies.Deep knowledge of product management methodologies, processes, and tools.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and driving customer satisfaction.Ability to travel to support client meetings and events.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Compensation and Benefits: Base Compensation Range: $200,000 - $220,000. In accordance with applicable law, the above salary range provided is PubMatic's reasonable estimate of the base salary for this role. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary, PubMatic also offers a bonus, restricted stock units and a competitive benefits package.
