Opportunity: We are looking for a highly strategic and data-driven Director of Product Marketing for Adobe Commerce. This role will be leading the product marketing organization for Adobe Commerce.
It is uniquely positioned to drive growth, retention, and engagement with new and existing customers. You will use usage data to build targeted segmentation, craft compelling messaging, identify key use cases, drive analyst interactions and market perception, and partner closely with field, global marketing, and the rest of the GTM teams to drive growth.
As Director of Product Marketing, you will help define the go-to-market strategy that impacts product innovation and accelerates market growth with solutions that help Adobe Commerce's customers achieve their brand relevance with growth in digital commerce.
Key Responsibilities: Growth & Retention Strategy: Define the market strategy and influence product strategy based on technology trends, market trends, and internal data. Develop and implement Go-to-market strategies to increase growth and retention across all segments and geographies.Identify use cases and new market opportunities: Partner with product management team and other cross functional teams to identify new use cases and promote key product use cases.Messaging & Positioning: Develop "experience-led" persuasive messaging that resonates with diverse user segments, highlighting Adobe Commerce value and differentiation. Invest in competitive intelligence and analysis to drive market differentiation.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and outbound marketing to align on go-to-market strategies, product updates, and user feedback integration.Partnership with global marketing: Partner with web, analyst relations, PR, events, campaign, partner, and retention marketing teams to drive launches, campaigns, and strategic plays globally. Collaborate with content and campaigns to drive pipeline growth.Partner with the field organization globally to drive the necessary enablement and sales plays and offer deal support.Partner with product management to drive capabilities, customer advisory board, and product releases.Drive product launches globally and bring new products to market to further drive growth and ARR. Leverage Drive thought leadership in the market.Lead and mentor a team of product marketers.Customer Feedback Integration: Act as a voice of the customer by capturing insights from user feedback, surveys, and support teams to advise marketing strategies and product development.Qualifications: 10+ years of product marketing experience, with a strong background in messaging and GTM strategies.Experience in marketing SaaS, Commerce, or Enterprise software is highly preferred.Strong collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams to deliver coordinated marketing and product experiences.Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging that drives feature adoption and customer engagement.What You'll need to succeed: Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering; MBA preferredPassion for crafting impactful, data-driven marketing strategies that improve customer experiences and deliver measurable business outcomesAbility to assess broad market dynamics and zero in on the ones that will make the greatest impactAbility to focus on driving results while never losing sight of the strategyBoth an influencer and a "let's do it" attitude – willing to roll up sleeves and bootstrap initiativesProven track record of building credibility with product teams, sales teams and customersRecord of showing longevity in initiatives over multiple yearsTireless work ethic and true passion for commerceStrong leadership skills in growing a team by developing talent.Focused on achievement and a team player who is willing to support others on team so brings up the level of the entire teamA humanistic approach to technology and a strong command of technology that will garner respect of product management and engineeringCommunication style that looks to simplify rather than complicateOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $163,200 -- $302,400 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
