As a Director, you will serve as a member of our leadership team to create, develop, and build our presence in the Boston market. You will play a pivotal role in being responsible and guiding our clients to design and develop solutions related to the evolving regulatory compliance landscape within the Financial Services industry. The candidate must possess the experience and the ability to implement industry standards and best practices to assess, advise, design, and/or recommend complex, enterprise-wide, regulatory compliance, and/or risk management, policies and procedures, methodologies, toolkits, and templates.
Client Delivery (~45%)Lead a team of consultants responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring regulatory compliance programs and designing and implementing policies, processes, and procedures in compliance with regulations.Provide guidance and strategic planning to client business units on regulatory compliance controls.Perform testing of business processes and outputs for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Responsibility for quality control of client work product.Contribute to add-on/cross sell revenue generation with existing clients and develop business with new clients.Strong knowledge of some or all of the following regulatory reports and regulatory metrics:FDIC Call/FR Y-9C/FR Y-9LPFR Y-14A, FR Y-M, FR Y-Q2052A/FINRA Weekly Liquidity ReportingLCR/NSFRRisk-Based Capital and Leverage RatiosAnalytics to detect potential compliance breaches and advise compliance management of issues.Dodd Frank Act or components thereof (e.g. Volcker Rule).Practice Leadership (~10%)As a leader in the Risk Advisory practice supporting the Boston market, including assisting in setting the growth strategy in line with CrossCountry's Core Values and other operational areas:Account management: oversee client engagements, maintain strong relationships with senior client personnel, and have a solid understanding of clients' business.Coaching and Development: provide coaching and training opportunities for team members leveraging individual skills and the firm's people first culture.Recruiting and Retention: take an active role in attracting, interviewing, hiring and retaining top talent.Thought leadership: share expertise in technical domain(s) with team members and clients, including case studies, white papers, learning materials, and other resources.Serve as a key leader in our Risk Advisory practice by guiding and directing strategic firm initiatives around ERM and Regulatory operations, process and technology capabilities.Business Development (~45%)Actively pursue business development opportunities and market a full range of risk and compliance services to prospective clients including using existing relationships to generate new opportunities.Foster culture of growth and a business development mindset and act as a thought leader in the market.Sales, Delivery, Solution Development and Practice Leadership across the following focus areas:Regulatory reporting transformation including Federal Reserve, FDIC and OCC.Remediation of regulatory risk matters encompassing liquidity, interest rate, credit and operational risks.Design and implementation of financial and operational risk platforms.Capital markets and trading operations and reporting.Operating model assessment and design and Risk Management Framework assessment and design.What you'll bring:12+ years of applicable consulting and delivery around Regulatory Reform projects, specifically as it relates to Risk Management and Compliance.Prior experience in professional services (public accounting or advisory firm), preferably at a large, global accounting firm or with a management consulting firm.Experience in enhanced prudential standards, resolution/recovery planning and various Basel Accords.Experience in the business planning impacts of regulation and the strategic implementation of new and evolving requirements.Knowledge of technology and data solutions to support:Stress Testing, Regulatory Reporting, Interest Rate and Liquidity Risk Reporting, Market, Operational and Credit Risk Reporting.Strong knowledge of commercial/retail banking and capital markets products (e.g., Commercial/Retail Loans, Interest Rate Derivatives, Fixed Income Securities, Repo, etc.).TravelWillingness to travel domestically up to 20%-30% (varies by client).Availability to work on client site or in office 3 days a week, with 2 days remote (hybrid environment).EducationBachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or other technical discipline.For applicants located in Boston, CrossCountry Consulting is required to include an estimate of the compensation range for this role. The following range takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, education, licenses, certifications, business needs, and internal equity. An estimate of the current range is $160,000 - $326,000 per year + annual bonus + additional benefits.
