We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Sales to drive new business acquisition across SMB (20-200 employees) and VSB (1-20 employees) segments in North America. This leader will oversee Vanta's Velocity and SMB sales teams, responsible for a significant portion of our quarterly new business.
You'll lead, develop, and scale a team of ~5 Front Line Managers and over 30 Account Executives, consistently meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. In this role, you'll have a direct impact on near-term outcomes at a high-growth company, while influencing how we build and support our customers' future success.
In this role, you'll report directly to Vanta's VP of Sales and Partnerships, while collaborating with key leaders such as the VP of Growth, Director of Global Sales Development, and Head of Revenue Operations.

We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below. The salary or OTE range for this position is $340,000 - $400,000. This role may also be eligible for commissions/bonus, equity, medical benefits, 401(k) plan, and other company perk programs.
