Director/Sr.
Director, Business Development & OperationsGondolaBio is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing next-generation therapeutics for genetic diseases.
Originally launched as BridgeBioX, GondolaBio secured $300M in private financing from external investors in 2024 and became an independent company within the BridgeBio ecosystem.
The company aims to leverage cutting-edge biological research to create breakthrough medicines addressing high unmet needs across multiple therapeutic areas, including neurology, pulmonology, cardiology, nephrology, and endocrinology.
The Director/Sr.
Director, BD & Ops role will be a critically important player who owns & shapes scientific, operational, and external-facing facets of value-driving subsidiaries.
This includes developing and owning the business plan, scientific plan, strategy, budget, and more.
Success in this role requires a keen understanding of molecular biology, chemistry, translational medicine, clinical development, and a willingness to interpret & question scientific strategy.
You will help boil down complex issues into bite-size, easy-to-understand information regarding the programs you cover from a scientific and business/financial perspective.
The role will include responsibilities for competitive intelligence, NPV modeling, leading teams, and managing industry relationships.
You will be relied upon to be a detailed and rational problem-solver who thinks independently, improvises, and inspires excellence.
